Marc Allan Feldman is the Libertarian candidate for Ohio Treasurer.
"I am running for treasurer to offer Ohio voters an alternative to the two-party system candidates," says Feldman. "I am concerned with the use of the office as an instrument of party politics instead of its proper function of protecting and promoting the financial security of the people of the State of Ohio."
Feldman is a practicing physician with a background in health finance and outcomes research. He is a graduate of the medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, holds a master's degree in health finance and management from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Northwestern University.
A life member of the Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society, Feldman practiced anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins for 11 years before being recruited to the Cleveland Clinic in 1998.
"I am lucky to be married to my beautiful wife Anne, and to be father to our boys Aaron and Abram—2012 and 2013 graduates of Ohio State University—and our younger son Andrew," says Feldman. "It has been one year since our cherished son, Alec, passed away from cancer at age 16."
